Crass Mondays Tonight at Bar 107


Once again, it's that time of month when the Bruce Spring Street DJs come out of their hovels and grant you your much needed dose of punk, post punk, riot, noise, ska, rock & whatever else they damn well please at your sometimes favorite Bar 107. Yep, it's Crass Mondays!

As far as I know, this is the only night in Downtown Los Angeles dedicated to authentic punk rock (no, as fun as it is, La Cita's Punky-Reggae doesn't really count), so go get your fill. You can usually expect to hear a healthy dose of 999, the Circle Jerks, Wire, Black Flag, the Misfits, Radio Birdman, Gun Club, the Urinals, the Saints, the Jam, the Ramones, X, X-Ray Specs, the Buzzcocks, PiL, the Fall, Naked Raygun, the Modern Lovers, Zounds and, of course, Crass. They usually throw in some curve balls as well... last month, the night ended with a Latin/Lounge set... I guess playing Esquivel at a punk rock night is honestly... pretty punk. Also, in the past they've been known to host guest DJ sets from Mika Miko, Jim Smith and the like. Good times indeed.


The Bruce Spring Street DJs start their set at 10 and go till close.
